Taxidermy:

Taxidermy workshop Vuckovic was founded in 1995 as a workshop for fish taxidermy. As taxidermist Vuckovic Srdjan expands his knowledge, the workshop expands its action.

Now days, the workshop offers taxidermy services of all organisms, beginning with the plainest forms and up to mammals and primates.

Besides taxidermy services and services associated with taxidermy, the workshop Vuckovic offers:

  - Reconstruction of human face in regard to an existing skull.
  - Taxidermy, preserving and restoration of fossils.

Art

The series “Remains of life” is an aspiration to show the beauty of shapes created by evolution, where nature plays the leading role of inviolable sculptor and the human, creator of the series, plays minor role of an arranger.

The series is named “Remains of life” because all models are made by arranging parts of different animal skeletons. All materials for preparing models are taken from Vuckovic Taxidermy Workshop and are the remains of discomposure of waste tissues in the colony of insects named Dermestes Maculatus.
